Simon Cowell had too much filler: I looked like a horror show

Simon Cowell is a vain man. He admits that, though. Most of it is non-verbal but between his fitted tee-shirts, perpetually coiffed hair and, up until lately, many face-fillers, he was advertising his race with Father Time. But I guess one mirror showed him reality because Simon decided to get rid of the face work and go with a more natural visage. Honestly, He looks pretty good. Much better, according to Simon, who thinks he looked like a “horror show” before he had the fillers removed. Cue the Nightmare Alley music…

SIMON Cowell looks slimmer than ever as he reunited with his America’s Got Talent co-stars.

The reality TV supremo showed off his slender frame after losing three stone and telling The Sun he feels much healthier.

He also no longer has facial treatments like filler and Botox, and looked fresh as he posed with fellow AGT judges Sofía Vergara, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel.

He said: “There was a stage where I might have gone a bit too far. I saw a picture of me from ‘before’ the other day, and didn’t recognise myself.
“Eric (his son) was in hysterics. Enough was enough. There is no filler in my face at all now. Zero.

“There was a phase where everyone was having their faces pumped full of this and the other.

“But for me, now, a lot of it comes down to healthy eating and drinking tons of water.”

[From The Sun]

“Eric (his son) was in hysterics,” there’s always a kid. You think you’re pulling something off but then your kid walks in and the truth falls out of their mouths. Apparently, I am on selfie hold until I get a haircut, something my daughter just enforced. CB hypothesized that Simon had his fillers dissolved, like Amy Schumer. I’m glad they’ve found something reversible, so celebrities don’t have to live forever with all their vanity choices. Courtney Cox also let most of her face work drop away and she’ll stick to very minor procedures from here on out. I do wish someone would be bold enough to post the dissolving process – what does that look like facially as it dissolves?

However, not all of Simon’s work stemmed from vanity. After his bike accident in 2020, he was on a lot of painkillers and very depressed. Both those things and the intense pain that comes with a major injury (Simon needed screws in his back and was warned there was a chance he might not walk again) saw him gain weight and probably took a toll on his self-esteem. So using fillers may have been part of his coping. Which would mean he’s returning to a better place, and that’s good. He’s not always my favorite person, but I don’t wish pain or mental suffering on anyone.
